I’ve always been a storyteller at heart, but I never imagined that my journey would lead me to the world of casinos. My name is Laurie Miller, and I’ve spent the last decade writing about one of the most fascinating and fast-paced industries out there – the world of casinos and gaming.

Born and raised in a small town in Ohio, I was always drawn to the written word. As a child, I devoured books and spent my free time crafting stories of my own. While my peers were dreaming of becoming doctors or teachers, I secretly fantasized about living in Las Vegas – the city of lights, where life seemed like one long, glittering adventure. However, life had other plans for me, at least at first. After college, I worked as a freelance writer, covering a variety of topics, from lifestyle pieces to tech reviews. But I never found my true voice.

My path changed when, by chance, I was assigned to write an article about the rise of online casinos. I spent hours researching the topic and was instantly captivated. That first article led to another, and soon I was freelancing regularly for casino-focused publications. I found my niche.

Today, I’m proud to call myself a casino journalist. I write about everything from game strategies and industry trends to behind-the-scenes looks at casinos themselves. Outside of work, I still keep a foot in the quieter side of life. I love curling up with a good book, hiking in nature, and spending time with my family. But no matter where I go, I’m always thinking about the next great story. Because for me, that’s what it’s all about – finding the story in everything, even in the most unexpected of places.
